Determine the effect of safety glass materials exposed to temperature and humidity by boiling
principle:
Immerse the specimen in hot and boiling water for the specified time, and check for bubbles and other defects
instrument:
The device includes two water baths, each of which is large enough to maintain the test sample vertically and completely submerged on the edge for duration testing
sample:
Three specimens of 300mm * 300mm size with the same thickness as the impact specimen shall be tested. These specimens can be cut from production samples of size and thickness submitted for impact testing. Samples can be cut from similar annealed laminated glass originals
program:
1): Immerse the vertical edge of the sample in a water bath with a temperature of 66°C±3°C for 3 minutes
2) Quickly transfer the specimen to a water bath that maintains its boiling point. Immerse the sample vertically into the edge for 2 h
3) Take out the sample and check for bubbles and other defects
